Our Designer For A Day service is for clients who are not currently looking to purchase a Full Custom Service or Designer By Your Side service with us, but still wish to consult with Virginia on their design project or related subject.

• I'm just about to purchase my furnishings and I want to make sure I don't make any costly errors or mistakes.
• I just can't figure out this one area in my home and I need some advice from a professional.
• I just moved and I need help deciding what to keep and what to get rid of.
• I would like for Virginia to go furniture or accessory shopping with me for a few hours.
• I'm building a new home and I'd love to bring Virginia with me to help make selections such as: flooring otions, selecting countertops, tile, cabinetry, lighting, etc.
• I'm about to tackle a design project on my own and I need some advice from a professional.

What to Expect from Designer for A Day Service:

• Designer For A Day is our least structured form of design service we offer. Virginia will provide expert guidance, advising you about your project, as she relys on her design knowledge, expertise and years of experience in the field.
• Virginia will discuss with you how to incorporate some of your existing furniture and accessory pieces in your new design project if you want to.
• Virginia will expect you to steer the conversation and have specific questions, design ideas, inspirations, spaces, stores, etc. that you will review with her and then you will visit the stores together
• Virginia can go with you to make *selections or furnishings if that is something you'd like her to help you with. The possibilities are endless, so just let us know what you're looking to do and we'll customize this package to meet your needs and help you avoid making costly mistakes.
• Materials *selections could include selecting hardwoods, floor and/or wall tiles, backsplash and grout, countertops, cabinetry, hardware, lighting, plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, tubs and shower controls, paint colors for walls, ceiling & trim, fabrics, etc.
• Designer For A Day is geared toward serving you on a project-by-project basis for up to 6 hours per project.
• The flat fee for each Designer For A Day service will be calculated on an individual basis with a minimum fee of $1,250.00 for up to 6 hours.
