Dwell Style Interiors will take your project from start to finish by offering you exclusive and thorough detailed Phases in your Design Process that are as follows:
1. Discovery Phase: (this phase is included here because we always start here with this phase for any of our projects and packages.) The initial Discovery Call is where we begin before any project start date.

We have a 10 Step Design Process for The Full Service Custom Luxury Interior Design Service:
- After the complimentary Discovery Call and the Initial Design Consultation, you can purchase and begin the Full-Service Custom Luxury Interior Design process. At a scheduled appointment, Virginia will review the Design proposal, Project Phases and the Letter of Agreement. When all parties have reviewed and agreed on the Design Package and Letter of Agreement, we will sign and collect 100% of the Design Fees to begin the Custom Design plan. The investment amount for the Full Service Custom Luxury Interior Design is $8,750.00 per space.
- Virginia and the Dwell Style Interiors team will measure, take 'before' photos of the space (s), collaborate with tradesmen and tradeswomen, The creative process will begin by building a comprehensive Design Plan in order to construct, furnish and style your new space. The investment amount and renderings will be included so you can view the space from the start in a complete and holistic way.
- After about 4-6 weeks of diligent focus on your Design Plan,a full vision for your space will be presented for your approval. Elements will include both actual, purchasable items and conceptual ones such as the styling elements. If needed there will be one to two revisions or modifications provided before moving to the next phase.
- Once the Design Plan has been approved and signed, Virginia and her team will finalize all selections. Full Payment will be received for all products and materials so we can begin. On your behalf, Dwell Style Interiors will manage and order all products, materials, furnishings and finishes for your project.
- A project schedule will be created and Dwell Style Interiors will coordinate with all involved - the tradesmen and tradeswomen and any others who are necessary for the job and the work will begin. A timeline, that is as accurate as possible, will be provided so you can plan around the work being done in your home. We will track and coordinate all freight, shipments and deliveries, holding and storing all items until the Installation Phase. If any items arrive damaged or broken or incorrect, then Dwell Style Interiors will handle everything and make it right.
- Up to this point, the space style has been conceptual. We now will meet with you to discuss our plan and vision for the styling elements which are the finishing touches and what makes a space cozy, warm and complete. Once these styling elements ideas are approved, we would like to keep these elements somewhat of a surprise until Reveal Day.
- Dwell Style Interiors will start making preparations for Reveal Day and an install date will be provided to you. We ask that you plan something fun and away from the house for the entire day while we install your space We want you to have that HGTV 'reveal' experience when you arrive back home at the end of the day!
- The delivery of all of the furnishings and the set up and styling ends up being a very long, tiring day for all involved. We will install every last detail, so when you do arrive home your experience will be an uplifting one!
- Usually within 1-5 days after the installation, we'll bring in our photography team and all who were involved in the project so they can see the completed space and if they like then take photos of their hard work. Often we will share and tour the space on social media during this time.
Typically around 5 days after the Install and Reveal Day, there will be a final walk through visit of the project with Virginia. It is highly recommneded that you keep a detailed 'punch list' with any repairs or concerns that you've kept track of. We will want to address these during the final walk through so they can be taken care of. It's such a joy to come back to your completely transformed space and to see your happy, smiling face. This makes every ounce of our hard work so worthwhile!

Package Glossary:
Accurate Measurements: Measurements are carefully and accurately taken of your space by Virginia or a team member. (if this package is purchased remotely and out of our service area, we ask that you provide these measurements for us).
Trade Day: We will meet with our best tradesmen and tradeswomen to get their input on any design ideas that involve construction, repair, etc. We will consult with them to obtain their professional opinion on the cost and scope associated with the work.
Floor Plan to Scale: We will determine the best and most functional Floor Plan design in a way that you want to live in the space (two options maximum).
Custom Color Story: We create A Color Story or Palette as we rely on the 60-30-10 rule that is mentioned in our Ebook. We'll recommend how much of the specific colors or tones you should have in order to create a cohesive look and feel.
Complete Lighting Plan: Ideally each space should have a lighting theme of ambiance, task, and accent. Floor lamps, table lamps to chandeliers will be considered in the lighting plan for you as we consider the functionality and mood of the space.
Conceptual Style and Accessory Plan: We'll include light accessory/styling elements in your rendering, but we'll also include a "conceptual/inspirational" board of what we think you'll need to complete and style the space on your own.
Detailed Renderings: A detailed, complete, to-scale, detailed, visual representation of the space pulled together in a cohesive design including Furnishings,Lighting, Window Treatments, etc. We will provide a maximum of two detailed renderings per project.
Design Plan Specifics: We will share with you detailed descriptions of the furnishings we would like to source for the space including measurements, fabric options, arm style, cushion options, etc.
Furniture Sourcing Plan: We will source you with furnishings from our best and most trusted vendors.
Comprehensive Budget: We will pull together and break down all costs associated with the level of design we are presenting to you. Included is the construction pricing from our 'Trade Day' vendors, as well as pricing for home furnishings and the styling decor for the space.
Complete Design Presentation: The complete Design Plan will be presented to you by Virginia in the comfort of your home, answering any questions you may have about the project. A digital copy of your luxury design plan will also be sent to you.
Design Plan Approval: You will approve the Design Plan so that we can move into the next phase of the design process. If' you'd like to make modifications or changes,we will do so here and now. Payment for furnishings and materials is due upon Design Plan approval.
Order and Procure Furnishings and Products: Dwell Style Interiors will place the order for all furnishings and products on our client's behalf. We will hold all products in our warehouse until the final install day.
Detailed Schedule Creation and Installation: Once furnishings have been ordered, a project schedule will be put in place. This will map out all elements of the design from this point forward.
Construction and Renovation Management: We will manage and schedule all construction and renovation work that will be done on the job site to insure that we stay on our timeline.
Organized Logistics Tracking: Dwell Style Interiors will order, track, receive, and store all furnishings and product until installation Day.
Project Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: If any items are damaged or lost, we will handle and troubleshoot these problems if they arise.
Style Plan Creation and Presentation: In the beginning stages of the Design Process, the Style Plan is conceptual. A more concrete Style Plan will be created closer to the Install Day that we will review with you.
Reveal Day Preparations: Installing, styling and accessorizing a space in one day requires a tremendous amount of planning and attention to detail. It will take several days to prepare, and pack for your big reveal.
Organized Logistics Planning / Troubleshooting: We will make sure everything is where it's supposed to be. If it is not then we will find the pieces and fix the problems.
Delivery, Installation and Reveal Day: For a smooth, successful "Install Day", we will require 'all hands on deck' from our team of trusted movers, installers and other design professionals to help get the job done.
Media Day: We will schedule a time one to two days after the Reveal Day to bring in our photographer to take the professional photos of your space. These photos will be used for marketing, placed on our website, social media and in magazine/media publications.
Final Walk Through: We will schedule a final walkthrough of the space and we ask that as you live in the space for a few days to take note of any flaws, damages, concerns and create a 'punch list' We will coordinate with the professionals necessary to address your punch list and ask them to be there for the final walk through to address your punch list.
