What is the 'Photo Prep' Session?
This package called The 'Photo Prep' Session is for up to 4 hours and is for the Homeowner who has already purchased (or the Realtor has purchased for their client), scheduled and has completed either the 'Walk & Talk' (standard package) or the Staging Consultation (premium package) appointment with Dwell Style Interiors.
The 'Photo Prep' Session is always after the Initial Staging Consultation has occurred and is considered a follow up or touch up session. This package is for up to 4 hours of Virginia's time. If more time is needed, then you would purchase the package again.
The purpose of this 'Photo Prep' session is to make sure that everything is ready for the Professional Photography to be taken of the property. Ideally the Professional Photos are taken before the property goes live on MLS and before any showings of the property.
If any heavy furniture needs to be moved to another space in the property (from other levels of the home and/or from the same level of the home) or moved to a storage unit, then movers will need to be involved and therefore scheduled ahead of time. The movers' fee will be an additional fee that the Homeowner pays directly to the mover. Dwell Style Interiors can give recommendations for movers to the Homeowner.
What to Expect from a "Photo Prep' Session:
*You must first book either the 'Walk & Talk' (standard) Consultation or the Staging Consultation (premium) package before you can purchase a "Photo Prep' Tweaking Session.

  • You must already have had a Staging Consultation (either the standard 'Walk & Talk' or the premium Consultation) with Virginia before the 'Photo Prep' session is scheduled.
  • Virginia comes back to the property and tweaks everything (does not include moving heavy furniture) to be ready for MLS photos and showings.
  • Tweaking may include, but not limited to, styling bookcases, styling bed and linen (already purchased by Homeowner), styling kitchen countertop areas, hanging art, fluffing pillows & overall making sure everything is photo ready and the design has the professional touch.
  • This 'Photo Prep' session should be scheduled a day or two before the professional photos are scheduled to come (not the same day of professional photos)
  • If movers are needed for this 'Photo Prep' Session then the movers need to be already scheduled before the 'Photo Prep' session.
  • The 'Photo Prep' session investment amount is $485.00 for up to 4 hours.

The 'Photo Prep' session is a 'tweaking' & styling session. Virginia will rely on her skills and eye for furniture/accessory placement as she tweaks the areas. This does not include any moving of heavy furniture. If any heavy furniture needs to be moved, movers will need to be involved and there is a separate fee for the movers.
The main purpose of the 'Photo Prep' session is to give the final and professional touches such as bookcase styling and other surfaces styling such as placing throw pillows, throws etc. This placement by Virginia is by arranging and placing what you already have at your property.
Virginia is the expert at using the Homeowners' furnishings & accessories to accomplish this goal: Your property should be a 'showstopper' once the recommendations from the staging consultation are completed and when Virginia comes back to 'tweak'/style to perfection!
When you follow Virginia's recommendations in the Staging Consultation, and then have this follow up "Photo Prep' Tweaking Session, then start packing! You''ll be moving in no time!
The investment amount for the 'Photo Prep' session is $485.00 for up to 4 hours.
